The VETWORK YOUR BUSINESS program was developed for those that bravely served our nation by the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and proudly sponsored by Lockheed Martin Corporation, Merck and Centocor.
The GPCC Supplier Network Series was developed as part of an effort to better qualify small companies to conduct business with large corporations through comprehensive training and networking sessions. VETWORK YOUR BUSINESS takes the program a step further to specifically identify Service-Disabled Veteran (SDVOSB) and Veteran-Owned (VOB) vendors, and connect these experienced suppliers with interested buyers. We want your SDVOSB or VOB to capitalize on your classification as regional corporations and government agencies look to satisfy supplier diversity requirements.
A major goal of the VETWORK YOUR BUSINESS program is to build awareness within both the veteran and the general communities of the business and contract opportunities available to veterans if they come forward and identify their business as veteran or service-disabled veteran owned, specifically by registering in the Central Contracting Registry (www.CCR.gov).
